Whether you ever wondered how one feels under the influence or wanted to compare your own experience to others’ or you are just interested in music with peculiar concepts – these senses transformed into an art form will satisfy your curiosity.

As authors say the album was mostly composed sequentially, that’s why it was decided to keep the most of it in a single track to underline the theme of one thing transforming into another as your thoughts move from it as it often happens when you sleep. When one is seeing a dream it is hard to tell when it started or how he got here because it’s in a constant change yet all is still connected. This album is something you’d probably like to return to, because of its multilayered atmosphere and numerous details that make listener want to give it another shot to explore something he missed before. There was also a limited number of physical copies printed; images created for its booklet are included in the archive.
Living in remote coastal area of northern Norway influences Havdis to create long calm melancholic ambient compositions. Slowly changing pads mixed with field recordings can remind Brian Eno’s and even maybe Angelo Badalamenti’s works (Beluga). Album has everything you could want from the purely ambient genre.
Imagine that on your endless flight through vast outer space engine power went down and you’ve lost any connection with your home planet.
Imagine you lost everything you have, everything you love, everything you own. There is no home, no family, no friends anymore. No goals, no plans, no career.
Just you and infinite space. The only thing that you have so far is your life experience which isn’t so useful anymore and memories that could help you not to loose your mind.
What would you do? How are you going to survive? Is there any hope?
Those are the questions PiXtar tries to answer in his third album. Techno-ambient atmosphere with a light shade of industrial new age and lounge and recognizable top notch multi-layered PiXtar’s arrangements can help you experience feelings of a man that is lost in space.
