That’s a real surprise. Our new friend Brandon K. Montoya aka The Incomplete Orchestra aka “Coruscate” have mentioned ‘Mixgalaxy’ in his latest track called ‘If You Got The Fever’.

As you may have noticed there are two remixes for Coruscate’s track ‘Tricky Dicky’ made by our artists Cubic and Gipa that have been included in our latest compilation. But that’s just a part of the history. A few weeks ago we decided to remix randomly choosen hip-hop acapella. First there were two artists involved, then a few others decided to take part in. As a result we’ve got about 6-8 remixes. Two above mentioned found their home on MIXG009, while all the others stayed on our HDD’s.

But now four remixes by Gipa, Cubic, Nuts Gives Power and Alexander Chereshnev are available for sale among other good tracks. Mr. Montoya have just released his album under his main alias ‘The Incmplete Orchestra’. You’re welcome to listen and buy it if you like. At the same time Coruscate is a very active CC-movement supporter who brought there a pack of clean top notch acapellas, and everyone allowed to use them in his production. So this is how you can back him a favour: 23 hip-hop tunes for just $5.

It’s about Talemore’s production again. His tracks Beyond time, Frozen Oak, and Searching For Life from MIXG005 are now in rotation on Soma.FM “Mission Control” channel where Live NASA STS-132 Space Shuttle mission audio mixed with electronic ambient music.

His neighbour on the channel is our ambient master Herr Bubenschtolz with the terrific gem #27 from MIXG001.

And even more a bunch of tunes from all our compilations have been added to different channels of voted best chilled-crooves world famous web-radio Groovera

Clerkfish is an aquatic vertebrate that is covered with scales of cynicism. During the evolution process, this fish became cold-blooded because of eating different media products. There is only one thing in all aquatic environments that hepls this creature in self-realization – MUSIC. Clerkfish needs to eat at least one good mixtape every day, otherwise it dies fast either in abyssal depths of the chaotic post-modernist ocean or from a fisherman’s knife.

We happened to meet one in the nearest lake. It was a really weird creation that looked very hungry. So we had nothing to do than to feed the clerkfish with our latest mixtape that opened a new chapter of Mixgalaxy Records diary. Yes, we go international! Artists form around the world took part in this project. Among them are IMDB listed old-school hip-hop artist Brandon K. Montoya aka Coruscate and Bear & Lampshade duo from USA, Brazilian pop-singer Yokandesh, UK vocalist Gizella and finally Spanish multi-instrumentalist Raul Diaz Palomar aka Taker 51. Some of them have got slots in our release shedule.

And of course a few already known Mixgalaxy artists demonstrated their creativity again. So this is another salad-style compilation that proves our motto ‘Delivering Diverse Music’. Ambient, IDM, Russian folk-pop, acid broken beat, hip-hop, lounge, smooth jazz, hardcore space electronica, cold and warm, catchy and glitchy, melodic and abstract – everybody can find something for him- or herself. No doubt about it.

New chapter requires new illustrations. So welcome our new painter Ket Golosov, the author of this wonderful cover art.

MIXG008 Once again Mixgalaxy Records music was used in a video production. This time good news arrived from indipendent freelance director Kris Koster who choose two tracks from MIXG005, which are Talemore – Silend worlds and Talemore – The Last Incantation, for his short film called The Story Beyond The Still: Fate. This film takes part in special contest sponsored by Vimeo and Cannon USA.

MIXG008 Let’s welcome Boris Kostin also known as Restin. This young producer from Moscow brought us a new EP in a very interesting style which someone can call “Soundtrack for non-existing movie”. 30 years ago Brian Eno first introduced this idea with his albums which developed ambient music genre as we know it today. Inspired by Akira Yamaoka and Marylin Manson creations, Restin has composed atmospheric music for a horror movie that will never be made. The words just fail to cover this conceptual work in any acceptable scale. And while we don’t have enough time to invent new improvements in language for making it possible, you should give your ears a try to be the judges and find out all the sublayers and meanings of this work yourself.
